The Garrick club is a private members club that was founded in 1831, in the heart of London’s West End.
During 2014 Craven Dunnill Jackfield, working in partnership with Harper and Edwards, were asked to survey the existing encaustic and geometric floor tiles in The Great Hall. On removal of the carpet it was discovered that only a third of the original tiles remained. Over 7000 exact replicas of encaustic and glazed geometric floor tiles were required to match to the original existing Maw & Co. tiles, to provide a seamless restoration of the historically significant floor.
